Your solution lacked imagination and feasibility. If all we can do at an individual level is to "job hop more" than the CEOs that you disparage will always win. Why? Because they stick together with Gorilla Glue. They can keep job-hoppers running around in circles while they remain in place. That allows them to brag about their awesome ability to sustain production while still controlling cost.
Back in the 1940s and 1950s, "individuals" banned together in solidarity to burst this bubble and demand appropriate wages and benefits from entire business sectors, like the auto industry. And yes, even the motion picture industry. It took grit and many lost paychecks to make their point, but once those CEOs realized that their businesses were going broke, they blinked in unison and the workers got their due. Why do you think CEOs of corporations like Amazon and Starbucks go catatonic when whispers of "unionization" flutter up to their aging ears?
