We should be very careful not to condemn the Russian people for Putin's war. They are mere pawns in this struggle--even the young Russian soldiers who have been led to believe they are defending fellow Russians against Ukrainian aggression. Right now, Western nations have the high moral ground. But it takes more than sanctions to maintain it. It takes a lot of love. And suffering is the currency of love that cannot be devalued by war.
